Description

Some links on Digital Marketing Supermarket are affiliate links, and some listings and spotlights are sponsored. We may earn a commission or a fee from these at no extra cost to you. Sponsored placements are always labelled, and payment never decides a review score. We use AI tools to help with research and drafting, and an editor checks and edits everything before it’s published.

What is Pexo?

Pexo is an AI video agent: you share a link, image, script or idea, and it plans the video, chooses the right AI model for each shot, then delivers a finished cut with voiceover, music and captions. Paid plans start at $30 a month on the Pro plan, and credits do not roll over (see Pexo’s pricing page).

Pexo is run by Extremo Limited and founded by Evan Liao. It launched on Product Hunt on 30 September 2026 and ranked first for the day (see Pexo’s Product Hunt page), and a Chinese tech outlet reported a funding round of more than $10M on 20 October 2026 (see the funding report on woshipm).

Key Features of Pexo

From a link or idea to a finished video

You can start with a URL, PDF, image, video, audio clip or just a description. Pexo plans the script, scenes and shots with you, generates and assembles them, then adds voiceover, music, motion graphics and captions, so you get a publish-ready video rather than raw clips (see Pexo’s homepage).

Mark to fix

Instead of re-prompting from scratch, you mark what you want changed on a frame and describe the fix, much like commenting in a shared document. Pexo applies the revision without restarting the whole project. Its Product Hunt page describes the same loop of leaving a comment or circling what to change.

Model routing and formats

Pexo picks the AI model for each step, and its site lists Seedance, Kling, Veo, Nano Banana, GPT-Image and others. Its agent skill says videos run from 5 to 120 seconds in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, so one project can be reframed for TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram (see Pexo’s open-source skills on GitHub).

Agent skills for coding assistants

Pexo also ships as an installable skill for Claude Code, Cursor, OpenClaw and other agents that support the Agent Skills standard. The skills are published under the MIT-0 licence, and you use the same credits as the web app.

Features as described on pexo.ai and its GitHub repository, 3 November 2026.

How Pexo Works

  • Start: share a link, image, script or idea
  • Plan: Pexo proposes the script, scenes and style
  • Refine: mark what to change and describe the fix
  • Export: get a watermark-free video on a paid plan

How Much Does Pexo Cost?

On 3 November 2026 the pricing page showed three paid plans, all monthly in US dollars (see Pexo’s pricing page). Pro is $30 a month with 3,000 credits plus 1,800 limited-time bonus credits, and the site estimates about 2 to 5 minutes of video. Elite is $60 with 7,200 plus 2,800 bonus credits (about 5 to 11 minutes). Max starts at $100 with 14,000 plus 4,000 bonus credits (about 9 to 20 minutes) and scales up through a dropdown. All paid plans remove watermarks and include commercial use rights.

Two points matter for budgeting. Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, and Pexo’s credit rules say they do not roll over. The bonus credits are labelled limited time, so the video minutes will fall when the bonus ends. The site also invites you to start for free, but it does not publish how many starter credits you get.

Who Should Use Pexo?

  • Startups and SaaS teams that need a launch or feature video quickly
  • Small e-commerce teams turning product photos or a store page into video ads
  • Marketers who make a steady stream of short social videos and want revisions by comment
  • People who already work in Claude Code or Cursor and want video from the same chat

It’s less suited to teams that need frame-level control in a traditional editor, or that need cost certainty per video before they start.

Pros and Cons of Pexo

Cons

  • Credits expire monthly and the credit cost per video is not published up front
  • Video minutes on each plan rely on limited-time bonus credits
  • Customer quotes and usage figures on the site are the vendor’s own
  • Free-tier credits are not stated, and refunds are limited
