ZyG – Agentic Operating System for DTC eCommerce Scale

ZyG is an agentic operating system for eCommerce scale. Its AI agents run a DTC brand’s digital layer, from store and creatives to user acquisition, conversion and logistics, under a pay-as-you-grow partnership.

Description

ZyG is an agentic operating system for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands that want to scale online. ZyG OS uses a connected system of specialised AI agents, built on shared data and predictive models, to execute every function needed for growth: building the online brand and store, generating creatives, running user acquisition and organic growth, and optimising conversion, retention and logistics.

Built by the founders of ironSource, which listed on the NYSE at an $11B valuation and later merged with Unity, together with AI specialists from an Israeli cyber unit, ZyG raised a $60M Series A in May 2026. The round was led by Accel with Felix Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Omer Kaplan is CEO and co-founder.

Who ZyG Is For

ZyG is not a self-serve tool. It partners with a specific kind of brand:

  • DTC brands with a strong product and early online traction.
  • Product inventors who lack the tech stack, AI expertise and data to scale in the US.
  • Founders tired of juggling agencies, tools and a growing headcount.
  • Brands open to a partnership model in which growth costs and risk are shared.

Core Capabilities

ZyG Score: Go or No-Go

Before investing in growth, ZyG builds a ‘ZyGnal’, an X-ray of the brand’s competitive DTC landscape, then runs a paid, real-world test to measure scale potential. Only products with a high ZyG Score move forward, so neither side spends heavily on a product that cannot scale.

Agents Across the Whole Journey

Once a brand is accepted, ZyG’s agents each focus on one part of the customer journey, from branding, store building and creatives to user acquisition, organic growth, conversion and logistics. ZyG presents this as a single platform replacing fragmented tools, agencies and manual workflows.

Who Controls What

ZyG executes the entire digital layer and supports operational scale. Partners stay responsible for the physical product and keep full control of the brand and its intellectual property, so product decisions remain with the founders.

Shared Financial Risk

Instead of agency retainers, ZyG uses a pay-as-you-grow fee that largely replaces existing costs, plus cohort-based financing for marketing, based on its own models. ZyG says it takes on most of the financing and growth risk.
