Eden review 2026: Dan Koe’s content workspace for research, AI writing and scheduling, scored 4.2 out of 5 (Digital Marketing Supermarket)

By Saj Ali · Last updated 3 Nov 2026

Eden is a well-built content workspace from Dan Koe’s company that puts research, writing, scheduling and selling in one place, with public prices and a free plan. We reviewed it from public pages on 2 and 3 November 2026, without using it. Our score is 4.2 out of 5: a solid, well-built tool.

TL;DR: our verdict on Eden

  • Verdict: 4.2/5, a solid, well-built tool. One of the most complete creator workspaces available, with open pricing and a free plan to try it.
  • Price: Free plan. Paid plans from $7.50 a month billed yearly; creator plans from $25.
  • Best for: Solo creators, newsletter writers and small content teams.
  • Good to know: refunds apply to annual plans, and the optional Instagram and Substack syncs use your own signed-in session.

Is Eden legit? What we checked

Yes. Eden’s terms of service, effective 11 October 2026, are an agreement with Eden Suite, Inc. under Delaware law. Writer Dan Koe appears on the Eden homepage as “Co-founder, Eden”. Co-founder Matthew Ao has written openly about the company’s history in Nine Lessons from a $3 Million Mistake (19 January 2026). He says their earlier app, Kortex, was bootstrapped, spent “roughly $3 million”, reached “$60K MRR” with a dozen employees, and was rebuilt from scratch with co-founder Ari before becoming Eden. He adds that Eden “made $250K over Black Friday weekend” at launch, and notes that Dan Koe “already had a large audience”.

Funding is not public, and we found no Product Hunt listing. Eden’s reviews page shows 239 reviews from creators, but these are collected by Eden itself.

What Eden does

Eden calls itself “The content brain for creators and marketers”. In practice it bundles several tools:

  • Discover finds posts on YouTube, TikTok, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Substack that beat their creator’s usual numbers, filtered by audience size and searched by meaning (Discover);
  • Eve, a content agent, checks ideas against what is already working, then writes in your voice and schedules (Eve);
  • Scheduling to X, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Pages, YouTube Shorts and Substack, with first comments and X auto-reposts (scheduling);
  • Ads research from the Meta Ad Library and TikTok’s public top ads (Eden Ads);
  • Auto-DM for Instagram comments, story replies and keyword DMs, with AI follow-ups (Auto-DM);
  • a library that saves from the web, apps and syncs, plus a store, email marketing, courses and an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.

How much does Eden cost?

Every plan is on the pricing page. Billed yearly, Personal is $7.50 a month ($90 a year), Personal Plus $12.50 ($150), Starter $25 ($299), Pro $66 ($790) and Max $167 ($1,999). Team is $208 a month ($2,490 a year) after a 7-day free trial. Billed monthly, Eden’s own comparisons put Starter at $29, Pro at $79 and Max at $199. The free plan needs no card and includes 100 saved items.

AI features run on monthly credits (200 on Starter, 750 on Pro, 3,000 on Max), and each automated Instagram DM uses one credit. On refunds, the terms say you can ask within 14 days of an annual charge. Annual plans also carry a “5-Post Guarantee”: publish at least five posts through Eden within 60 days and, if your engagement has not improved, you can claim the year back within 90 days. Monthly plans are not refunded.

How Eden connects to your accounts

Most of Eden works through accounts you connect. Scheduling to X, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Pages and YouTube Shorts publishes from Eden’s servers, and Auto-DM uses Instagram’s messaging permissions. Eden says your passwords stay on your device.

  • Instagram saves. Eden’s Chrome extension page says Instagram saves are “Read from your own signed-in session”, and its help page says the Mac app or extension does the reading, about once a day.
  • Substack. Eden says “Substack has no public API”, so threads and image notes post “from Chrome with the Eden extension or the desktop app”, and Substack bookmarks sync the same way.
  • Discover. Eden’s terms say it uses “publicly accessible interfaces (including official APIs where available)” and does not “bypass authentication, paywalls, login walls”.

These syncs are optional. Eden’s terms ask each user to follow the rules of the platforms they connect, so it is worth reading Instagram’s Terms of Use and Substack’s Terms of Use before you switch them on.

What users are saying about Eden

We searched X, Reddit, Product Hunt and independent blogs on 2 November 2026. We left out Eden’s own testimonials and posts by Eden staff. Here is what remains, in people’s own words.

Praise

  • Creator Noah Vincent, who started out making content about Kortex almost two years earlier, wrote on Substack (10 September 2026): “I use it every single day, it replaced two paid subscriptions”. His post links to Eden’s signup page.
  • The Systems That Stick newsletter said: “this one solved a problem I couldn’t fix with duct tape and prayer.”
  • Copywriter Kevin Kuang replied on X that “it’s honestly been wonderful”, though he is “still trying to Automate the ideation process”. He also appears as a testimonial on Eden’s pricing page.

Mixed views

  • Noah Vincent says an early rebuilt version of Eden was “slow and buggy”, and that he now uses the current creator-focused version every day.
  • One builder wrote that Eden is “way more expensive because they have all that fancy AI features while all i need is tik tok scraper”.

We found no Product Hunt listing, Trustpilot page or Reddit threads reviewing Eden.

Who should use Eden (and who should not)

Consider it if you are a creator or newsletter writer who wants research, writing, scheduling and a store under one login, or a small team running several brands. Look elsewhere if you only post on one network and want a single-network tool, or you want a refund option on a monthly plan. For LinkedIn only, a tool such as Taplio may be enough.

How to run a fair trial

  1. Start on the free plan and use Discover and the Chrome extension for a week in your niche.
  2. Note your current engagement per post, so you have a baseline.
  3. If you upgrade, pick Starter and only pay yearly if you are sure; that is the plan with a 14-day refund window.
  4. Read Instagram’s and Substack’s terms before you switch on the optional saves and bookmarks syncs.
  5. After 60 days and at least five posts through Eden, compare engagement with your baseline, and use the 5-Post Guarantee if it has not improved.

How we scored Eden

Every DMS review marks the same five criteria out of 5. The overall score weights them (Features 25%, Evidence 25%, Risk and fit 20%, Pricing 15%, Ease 15%) and then places the result on the DMS scale, where 4.0 to 4.4 means a solid, well-built tool and 4.5 or more is kept for category leaders with strong public evidence. This is a desk review: we scored what the vendor publishes and what independent sources confirm, not a paid hands-on test.

Criterion Score Why
Features and depth 4.5/5 Outlier research across six platforms, ad research, an AI writing agent, scheduling to eight networks, Instagram Auto-DM, a store, email, courses and an MCP server
Pricing transparency and value 4/5 Every plan is priced publicly, with a free plan and a 7-day Team trial. Refunds apply to annual plans, AI features use monthly credits, and Auto-DM and Creator Bootcamp start on Pro at $66 a month billed yearly
Evidence and credibility 3.5/5 Named founders, a co-founder’s own account of the company’s history and launch revenue, and independent write-ups from long-time users. Most user reviews are collected on Eden’s own site, and funding is not public
Risk and compliance 3/5 Scheduling and Auto-DM run through accounts you connect, and passwords stay on your device. Instagram saves, Substack bookmarks and Substack threads use your own signed-in session in the Mac app or Chrome extension, and Eden’s terms ask you to follow each platform’s rules
Ease of getting started 4/5 Free plan with no card, Chrome extension and apps on every device; but the breadth of features and the credit system take time to learn
Overall 4.2/5 Solid, well-built tool

Our verdict on Eden

Eden is one of the most complete creator workspaces available: outlier research, an AI writer, scheduling to eight networks, ad research and a store, with every price on the page and a free plan to try. Its history is unusually open, and long-time users who were critical of earlier versions now use it daily. Pay yearly if you want the refund window and the 5-Post Guarantee, and check each platform’s terms before turning on the optional Instagram and Substack syncs. We score it 4.2 out of 5: a solid, well-built tool. See the Eden listing for a quick summary, or browse more AI marketing tools.
