Enrich Labs ACO Review 2026: Track AI Shopping Agent Recommendations and Checkout

November 6, 2026 · 8 min read

Enrich Labs ACO review 2026: track AI shopping agent recommendations and checkout readiness (Digital Marketing Supermarket)

Enrich Labs ACO (Agent Conversion Optimisation) tracks whether AI shopping agents recommend your brand, why a competitor wins the shortlist, and whether an agent can walk your offer through to a working checkout. Paid plans start at $199 a month for Muse-only coverage, with Muse + Instinct at $499 a month and Enterprise custom (see the ACO product page and pricing, checked 5 November 2026). Our desk verdict: a clearly differentiated new category play beyond GEO, scoring 3.6 out of 5, held back by waitlist access, a high entry price for one brand, and the fact that ACO itself only launched on 4 November 2026.

For the quick facts, see the Enrich Labs listing on Digital Marketing Supermarket. Browse related AI SEO, analytics and e-commerce marketing tools in the directory. One naming clash to clear up first: this Enrich Labs (enrichlabs.ai, Mountain View) is not the lead-enrichment Enrich Labs at enrich.so.

TL;DR: our verdict on Enrich Labs ACO

  • Verdict: A focused instrument for brands that already care about AI answers and now need recommendation share plus agent-buyable checkout. Measurement first; optional Helena ships approved fixes.
  • DMS score: 3.6/5 (Worth watching / early adopters)
  • Price: Paid. Free one-page scan; Muse $199/mo; Muse + Instinct $499/mo; Enterprise custom. Helena for fix deployment from $99/mo (Pro).
  • Best for: DTC and e-commerce marketers, SEO/GEO leads and conversion teams competing for Muse, Instinct and (on Enterprise) Dots recommendations
  • Watch out for: New-launch waitlist and ~100-customer early cap, high per-brand price, no recommendation guarantee, separate Helena cost to auto-ship fixes

What Enrich Labs ACO Is

Enrich Labs describes itself as an applied AI lab working on what marketing becomes when the customer is an agent. The company is a small in-person team in Mountain View; its About page names co-founders Seijin Jung (CEO) and Yunfeng Bai (CTO), three other team members, and claims 1,400+ businesses running on its agents and 70+ agents on its own marketing daily. Those figures are vendor claims.

The lab’s products include Helena (the AI marketer that plans, creates and ships content, ads, SEO and email), Agent Conversion Optimisation (the instrument reviewed here), a Marketing Intelligence Layer of benchmarks and playbooks, and enterprise enablement. ACO is the piece that answers a narrower question: when Muse, Instinct or Dots researches options for a shopper, do they pick you, and can they buy?

CEO Seijin Jung introduced ACO publicly on 4 November 2026 in a launch thread that drew on the order of 1.2 million impressions. Press coverage the same day (for example RuntimeWire) framed it as a tracker for whether shopping agents pick your brand, with early access capped at about 100 customers. That matches the waitlist language still visible on the ACO pricing section when we checked the next day.

Who Enrich Labs ACO Is For

  • DTC and e-commerce brand marketers whose customers increasingly ask personal agents for “best X” and expect a buyable path.
  • SEO, AEO and GEO owners who already track citations and now need named-pick share per shopping agent.
  • Conversion and growth leads who suspect agent traffic never appears in analytics (no referrer, no session) and want a probe of checkout readiness.
  • Agencies and multi-brand operators that need Enterprise coverage across markets, languages and agents including Dots.
  • Teams already using Helena who want ACO findings turned into approved on-site and outreach tasks.

It is less suited to teams that only need classic keyword rank tracking, or anyone looking for people/company data enrichment under a similar brand name.

Real Use Cases for Marketers

1. Share of voice against named competitors

Pick the customer questions that matter (“best gently cooked dog food” and similar), track them daily on Muse and/or Instinct, and see how often you are the named pick versus mentioned or absent. Alerts fire when share moves; shortlist displacement shows who took your spot.

2. Diagnose why an agent skipped you

The vendor lists three recurring failure modes: never retrieved (you are not in the sources the agent reads), found but unverifiable (price, ingredients or stock could not be confirmed where the agent looks), and blocked at the funnel (sign-in wall, bot check or broken checkout). ACO’s probes and category checks are meant to surface which mode applies.

3. Checkout readiness for agentic buyers

Enrich Labs’ own Fortune 500 research (October 2026) found that only 96 of 500 companies let a browser agent reach an enabled final order button, with sign-in walls the largest chosen blocker. ACO productises a lighter version of that idea for your brand: offer → price → terms → action, stopping before payment.

4. Instinct gatekeeper outreach

On Muse + Instinct, the gatekeeper map highlights the roundups and listicles Instinct leans on. That turns a vague “get mentioned more” brief into a short list of third-party pages to pitch or correct.

5. Closed-loop fixes with Helena

ACO alone measures and queues fixes. Hiring Helena from Pro ($99 a month) lets the agent draft PDP rewrites, answer capsules, redirects, catalog cleanup and gatekeeper outreach for your approval, then re-run the same queries for before/after.

Key Features

Recommendation score. Named pick versus mentioned in prose versus absent, per question, per agent.

Share of answers and displacement. Competitor share across your tracked questions, plus who replaced you on the shortlist.

Question library. Tracked prompts with monthly search volume and 7-day trend; you choose questions and can add your own. Muse plan: up to 25 prompts/day; Muse + Instinct: up to 50; Enterprise: hundreds.

Funnel probe. Live walk of offer, price, terms and add-to-cart/checkout. Stated to stop before personal or payment data; does not place orders.

Agent coverage. Muse and Instinct on standard paid plans; Dots (claims audit) on Enterprise per the pricing page; new shopping agents added for Enterprise as they launch. The vendor stresses that winning one agent does not mean winning the others, and that checking from your own logged-in account biases results.

Fix queue. Weekly ranked work for human or Helena execution: titles and answer summaries, structured fact blocks, retailer feed corrections, engineering tickets. Nothing ships without approval when Helena is used.

Research backdrop. Public research (Fortune 500 checkout audit, self-improving marketing, Project FSD Shopify store) underpins the lab’s positioning. Treat research findings as Enrich Labs’ own studies, not independent verification of ACO’s accuracy.

Source: https://www.enrichlabs.ai/agent-conversion-optimization and https://www.enrichlabs.ai/pricing?product=aco, checked 5 November 2026. ACO copy states cancel anytime and no long-term contract. Launch communications described an early cap of about 100 customers. Helena is priced separately (Starter $39, Pro $99, Pro Plus $199 a month, 3-day free trial; annual billing stated at 25% off). Confirm live prices before buying.

Two pricing nuances matter. First, the ACO product page lists Muse at $199 and Muse + Instinct at $499 with “Get started” CTAs, while the ACO section of the global pricing page emphasises Muse + Instinct at $499 with a waitlist and Enterprise with Dots — treat availability as fluid in the first weeks after launch. Second, measurement and deployment are unbundled: ACO queues fixes; Helena Pro and above are the plans named to draft and ship them after approval.

Caveats and Limitations

  • Brand-new product. ACO launched 4 November 2026. There is little independent customer evidence beyond the lab’s own research and launch thread.
  • Access friction. Waitlist language and a stated early customer cap mean you may not get in immediately even at list price.
  • No outcome guarantee. The FAQ states plainly that agent behaviour changes and nobody controls recommendations.
  • Invisible in site analytics. That is the problem ACO addresses, but it also means you cannot easily reconcile ACO scores with GA4 or Shopify reports without your own instrumentation.
  • Agent set will change. Coverage today centres on Muse, Instinct and (Enterprise) Dots. New agents are an Enterprise promise, not a self-serve toggle.
  • Name collision. “Enrich Labs” is also used by an unrelated lead-enrichment company. Always check enrichlabs.ai versus enrich.so.
  • Desk review only. We have not run a paid ACO account or validated probe accuracy against live Muse/Instinct sessions.

How It Compares

Most AI visibility tools still optimise for mentions and citations inside ChatGPT-class answer engines. ACO’s claim is that personal shopping agents personalise, read a small set of third-party pages, pick a brand and then try to buy — so the KPI is recommendation share plus a buyable path, not citation share alone. If your brief stops at “get cited in AI Overviews”, a GEO platform may be enough. If agents already drive consideration in your category, ACO is aiming at a different finish line.

Inside DMS it belongs with AI SEO and SEO tools for discovery, analytics for measurement, and conversion optimisation plus e-commerce marketing for the checkout half of the story. It does not replace paid media, email or a CDP.

Our Desk Score

  • Features and depth: 4.0/5. Clear ACO framework, per-agent scoring, probes, gatekeeper map, fix queue and optional Helena loop.
  • Ease of getting started: 3.5/5. Free scan helps, but paid access shows waitlist/early-cap friction and plans assume you already know which agents matter.
  • Pricing transparency and value: 3.5/5. Headline ACO prices are published; waitlist versus Get started CTAs and the separate Helena bill for auto-fixes muddy the total cost of ownership.
  • Reliability and risk: 3.5/5. Strong public research story and honest “no guarantee” FAQ, but ACO is days old, desk-unverified, and agent behaviour is inherently volatile.
  • Overall: 3.6/5 (Worth watching / early adopters). Average of 4.0, 3.5, 3.5 and 3.5, rounded.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Enrich Labs ACO?

Agent Conversion Optimisation: software from Enrich Labs that tracks whether AI shopping agents recommend your brand and whether they can complete a purchase path on your site.

How much does Enrich Labs ACO cost?

Muse is listed at $199 a month, Muse + Instinct at $499 a month, and Enterprise is custom. A free one-page scan is offered. Confirm on the vendor site, as waitlist status changes.

Is ACO the same as GEO?

No. GEO measures mentions in answer engines. ACO measures named picks by shopping agents plus checkout readiness.

Which agents does it track?

Muse and Instinct on standard paid plans; Dots on Enterprise according to the pricing page. Enterprise also promises new agents as they launch.

Do I need to give Enrich Labs access to my site?

No for scans. The vendor says scans are read-only and external. Implementation work happens only after you approve it.

Does the checkout probe buy anything?

No. Probes are stated to stop before payment and personal data.

Is Enrich Labs a lead-enrichment company?

Not this one. enrichlabs.ai builds Helena and ACO for marketing when the customer is an agent. A differently owned Enrich Labs at enrich.so sells people and company data APIs.

Can ACO guarantee we will be recommended?

No. The vendor states that agent behaviour changes and that it finds blockers, fixes what it can, and shows measured change.
