Services › AI marketing agencies

An AI marketing agency uses artificial intelligence to plan, produce, run or measure your marketing, from AI-assisted ads and content to getting your brand cited by ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Below are 22 AI marketing agencies we checked one by one on their own websites in October 2026, with what each one actually offers, where it is based and who it suits. 16 already have a free listing on Digital Marketing Supermarket.

How we chose

We started with agencies in our Artificial Intelligence and AI SEO & GEO categories and our wider directory, then added a few well-known agencies that are not listed yet. We opened each agency’s own website on 29 October 2026 and kept it only if the site was live and described an AI-led marketing service. Freelancer marketplace profiles, dead sites and off-topic businesses were left out. Locations, sizes and prices come from the agencies’ own pages and are their claims; we have not hired these agencies or tested their results. No agency paid to appear here, and the order is by type, not a ranking.

AI marketing agency or GEO agency?

The two overlap, but they are not the same thing. An AI marketing agency uses AI across the whole job: ads, creative, content, data and automation. A GEO agency focuses on one outcome, which is getting your brand named and cited in AI answers. If AI search visibility is your only goal, start with our AI SEO and GEO agencies directory, with UK and USA versions.

Some teams do not need an agency at all. If you have the people and want to run AI work in-house, compare tools first: our AI marketing tools directory, the Peec AI review for AI visibility tracking, the Claude SEO review, the Notra review and our guide to the best AI marketing agents. If you would rather hire than outsource, the DMS jobs board lists current marketing roles.

How to choose an AI marketing agency

Start with the problem, not the tool. Decide whether you need more output (content, creative, ads), better decisions (data and prediction) or more visibility in AI answers. Then shortlist two or three agencies from the matching group above and ask each the same questions.

Questions to ask before you sign

  • Which parts does AI do, and which do people check? You want a clear answer, such as “AI drafts, a senior editor approves”.
  • Which AI tools do you use, and who owns the outputs? Ask about prompts, brand models, creative files and any data you hand over.
  • How do you measure AI search visibility? Ask which AI engines and which prompts they track, how often, and with what tool.
  • Can you show results in our sector? Look for named case studies with dates and numbers, not just logos.
  • How do you handle personal data? In the UK, the agency should be able to explain how its AI use fits the ICO’s guidance on AI and data protection.
  • What happens if results are slow? NoGood, for example, says on its homepage that organic channels typically need three to six months. Agree review points before you start.

Typical pricing models

There is little public pricing data for AI marketing as its own service, so the best guide is how agencies price SEO and growth work, which is how most of them sell AI services too:

  • Monthly retainer. The most common model. In Ahrefs’ poll of 439 SEO providers, 78.2% charged a monthly retainer, and agencies averaged up to $3,209 a month (an upper-bound estimate).
  • Project fees and hourly rates. In the same poll, 48.9% charged per project and 34.8% by the hour. Audits and AI visibility reports are often sold as one-off projects.
  • Subscriptions and hour bundles. NinjaPromo publishes its prices: 40 hours a month for $4,000, falling to $80 an hour at 160 hours.
  • Enterprise creative subscriptions. Superside’s Dedicated plan starts at $30,000 a month on a 12-month term, plus a $1,000 monthly software fee.

AI search work is increasingly bundled in. In SE Ranking’s agency pricing survey, 61% of agencies said they were considering adding optimisation for AI Overviews and other AI engines, and most of them planned to fold it into existing packages rather than charge extra.

Red flags

  • Guaranteed AI rankings. Nobody controls what ChatGPT or Gemini says. Answers change with the prompt, the user and the model version.
  • Mass-produced AI content with no human review. Google’s spam policies on scaled content abuse target pages made mainly to manipulate rankings, “no matter how it’s created”.
  • Automated engagement. Bots that comment, like or message for you break LinkedIn’s User Agreement, which bans automated methods that drive inauthentic engagement. They can get your account restricted.
  • Unchecked account access. Be wary of any agency or AI agent that wants write access to your ad accounts without an approval step.
  • No named people or case studies. “AI-powered” is easy to claim. Ask who will actually work on your account.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI marketing agency?
An AI marketing agency uses artificial intelligence to plan, create, run or measure marketing. That can mean AI-assisted ad bidding and creative testing, AI-drafted content checked by editors, predictive analytics, or work to get your brand cited by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity.
What is the difference between an AI marketing agency and a GEO agency?
A GEO (generative engine optimisation) agency focuses on one goal: getting your brand mentioned and cited in AI-generated answers. An AI marketing agency uses AI across many channels, such as paid ads, content, creative and data. Many agencies on this page offer both. For GEO specialists, see our AI SEO and GEO agencies page.
How much does an AI marketing agency cost?
Most agencies charge a monthly retainer. In Ahrefs’ poll of 439 SEO providers, 78.2% used retainers, and agencies averaged up to $3,209 a month. Some publish fixed plans: NinjaPromo starts at $4,000 a month for 40 hours, and Superside’s Dedicated creative plan starts at $30,000 a month.
Should I hire an AI marketing agency or use AI tools myself?
If you have people with time and skills, AI tools can be cheaper. Compare options in our AI marketing tools directory. An agency makes more sense when you need extra hands, specialist skills such as AI search or creative production at scale, or someone accountable for results.
How long does AI marketing take to show results?
Paid media can show results within weeks, but organic work, including AI search visibility, usually takes longer. NoGood says on its website that organic channels typically need three to six months to build momentum. Agree milestones and review dates before you start.
How did you choose these agencies, and do they pay to appear?
We checked each agency’s own website on 29 October 2026 and kept those that were live and described an AI-led marketing service. We left out freelancer marketplace profiles, dead sites and off-topic businesses. No agency paid to appear, and the order is by type, not a ranking.
Is it safe to let an AI marketing agency automate my LinkedIn or ad accounts?
Be careful. LinkedIn’s User Agreement bans bots and automated methods that comment, like, share or message to drive inauthentic engagement. For ad accounts, insist on an approval step before any AI tool or agent changes budgets or campaigns.
How do I get my AI marketing agency listed?
Use the form on our List Your Agency page. Listings are free. If you are already listed, open your listing and use the Claim this listing box to ask us to add you to the Artificial Intelligence category.
