I am a professional freelance writer and editor, and project manager with ability for non official translation from Spanish into English. I hold bachelor’s degrees in Archaeology, History, and Religious Studies from the Univeristy of Pittsburgh, an English as a Foreign Language teaching certificate from the Canterbury School in Madrid, and a certificate of Advanced Level Spanish from the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de España. I am a philologist who also reads Old English literature, and I hold a Masters in English Philology and Literature.

I also taught English Language and Literature, Post-Modern American Literature, and Introduction to Shakespeare courses for three years at the Universidad de Villanueva in Madrid. I have taught courses in Business English and Cross Cultural Communications for companies such as Cepsa, Enegas, and SAP.

I have been working as a project manager and coordinator for a tech based language learning service for several years, and I am skilled at a variety of software platforms as well as employee management and project scheduling, linguistics, etc. I have worked on the technical side of the projects as well as community management for several hundred volunteers from all over the globe who have various roles in our system. Regarding jobs that require soft skills and communication, I’ve worked in refugee resettlement, the American Red Cross, and for non profits aiming to raise education levels for at-risk youth.
