I have a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Utah and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Weber State University.

I have been a practicing occupational therapist for a little over 5 years now with the majority of my work experience involving geriatric patients in skilled nursing and inpatient settings. I have trained and supervised multiple occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants in the following: clinical techniques and modalities, effective communication and teamwork with other disciplines, and concise completion of documentation. I have issued countless letters of medical necessity and evaluations to obtain coverage from health insurance companies. So far, I hold a 100% success rate in obtaining federal health insurance coverage for manual and powered wheelchairs via my extremely detailed evaluations.

Because of my academic background, I have experience in completing high-quality, written projects including quantitative/qualitative research studies, grant-writing, and essays of the technical nature. I have been active on Upwork for almost 3 years writing courses, articles, research papers, blogs, and various content writing projects related to my field.
