I was born in China and raised in Hong Kong. I also lived in Australia for one year. I’ve been a full-time freelancer since August 2017.

I am a native Mandarin and Cantonese speaker. I received education in English and most of my work products are in English. I graduated from HKUST, one of the most renowned universities in Asia.

My corporate investigator career started in 2016, I have since worked on more than 100 commercial investigation and business intelligence projects (Human intelligence or HUMINT) across APAC (ex-Japan).

My daily job involves Chinese-English translation and reports drafting, including but not limited to targeted industry research, profiling, red-flag screening and reviewing various public records such as corporate records and court judgments. In addition, I use my network in Hong Kong and mainland China to access information and conduct discreet site visits to help corporates mitigate risks before deciding to work with Chinese companies.

These skillsets also help me become an excellent market researcher. I have completed more than a dozen of market research projects on this platform, including but not limited to the e-commerce, real estate, renewable energy, eldercare, electric vehicle and theme park industry.
