Trendtrack review 2026: competitor ad, shop and email tracker, from $49 a month, scored 4.3 out of 5 (Digital Marketing Supermarket)

By Saj Ali · Last updated 3 Nov 2026

Trendtrack lets e-commerce teams see competitors’ Meta, TikTok and Google ads, Shopify stores and marketing emails in one place, and it now feeds that data into Claude and ChatGPT. It covers a lot for $89 a month on Pro. Payments are non-refundable under its terms, and the company behind it is based in Dubai, under UAE law. We reviewed it from public pages on 3 November 2026, without signing up. Our score is 4.3 out of 5: a strong choice for e-commerce teams who study competitors.

TL;DR: our verdict on Trendtrack

  • Verdict: 4.3/5, a strong choice for e-commerce teams who study competitors. Broad ad, shop and email data with a useful MCP link to AI assistants, held back by non-refundable payments and EU and UK-only spend data.
  • Price: From $49 a month, or $34 a month billed yearly. Pro (needed for ads and MCP) is $89, or $62 billed yearly.
  • Best for: Shopify brands, media buyers and agencies doing creative and competitor research.
  • Biggest catch: No free plan or trial, and no refunds after 24 hours of a first purchase.

How we reviewed Trendtrack

  • We read trendtrack.io (home, pricing, MCP and terms pages), Trendtrack’s Claude and ChatGPT docs, Trustpilot and Trendtrack’s X profile on 3 November 2026, and took every screenshot ourselves from public pages with a headless browser.
  • We did not sign up, buy anything or use the product, and we did not contact the company.
  • Prices are as shown on the vendor’s own pages on 3 November 2026 and can change.
  • We score five criteria out of 5 and combine them as a weighted average on the DMS 2026 scale, with features and evidence counting most. Nobody paid for this review.

What Trendtrack does

  • Shops. A database of Shopify stores you can filter by niche, country, traffic, growth, creation date and theme, with traffic history, technologies, best-sellers and similar shops.
  • Ads. Meta, TikTok (ads and organic content) and Google ad libraries, with filters by date, format, engagement and country. You can also search by image to find similar products and who sells them.
  • Brandtracker. Follow 2, 10 or 20 competitor brands, depending on plan. Meta ads refresh every 24 hours, with automatic analysis of frequency, formats and key messages.
  • Emails. Brands’ automated flows (welcome, cart abandonment) and one-off campaigns.
  • Advertisers. Facebook pages, with EU and UK ad transparency data, on Business.

Ad spend estimates: EU and UK only

Trendtrack shows reach and spend estimates for Meta ads running in the EU and UK, taken from Meta’s transparency data (its homepage says the data is “limited to EU & UK by Meta”). So for a US-only advertiser, you see the ads but not the spend. That is a limit of Meta’s data, not only of Trendtrack, but it matters if you sell outside Europe.

Trendtrack MCP: using it in Claude and ChatGPT

The newest part of Trendtrack is its MCP server. Its MCP page says: “Connect to Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and more to pull stores, ads, advertisers and emails.” Set-up, from Trendtrack’s Claude guide and ChatGPT guide:

  1. Turn on Public API access for your workspace (Pro or Business; Starter has no API or MCP).
  2. In Claude, add a custom connector; in ChatGPT, turn on developer mode and create an app. Paste the MCP server address from the guide.
  3. Click “Allow access” on Trendtrack to finish the OAuth sign-in.

Then you can ask things like “Find Shopify stores selling skincare in France with active Meta ads” or “Show my workspace’s fastest scaling ads this week” (both examples from Trendtrack’s docs). Each result uses credits: 4 per shop or product, 3 per advertiser, 2 per email, 1.5 per Meta ad and 1 for everything else. Pro and Business include 10,000 credits, or 20,000 on yearly billing, so check usage before big queries. The docs suggest exactly that.

  • Cancel any time. The pricing FAQ says “No commitment, no lock-in”, and the terms say you keep access until the end of the billing period.
  • Refunds. The terms say subscriptions are non-refundable “except in exceptional cases within 24 hours of a first-time purchase, and only if justified”, and never for renewals, upgrades or unused time.
  • Account sharing. The terms say each person needs their own seat, and Trendtrack may act without notice if it suspects shared use.

What users are saying

Trendtrack has 4.7 out of 5 from 83 reviews on Trustpilot, checked on 3 November 2026. Recent reviewers praise fast support and daily-updated data; one called it the “only one with accurate and updated daily datas” among the spy tools they had tried. The homepage also quotes named founders, including Vince Nijhof of OOAK Group, who says they use it “to spot the winning ad angles”. These quotes are from Trendtrack’s own homepage.

What we could not verify

  • How accurate the store traffic and spend estimates are.
  • How far 10,000 API credits go for a typical team.

Who should use Trendtrack, and who should not

  • Use it if you run or advertise for Shopify brands and want ideas from competitors’ ads, products and emails.
  • Use it if you want to ask Claude or ChatGPT questions about live ad and store data.
  • Think twice if you need spend data outside the EU and UK, or you sell B2B rather than e-commerce.
  • Skip Starter if you need ads, emails or MCP; go straight to Pro.

How we scored Trendtrack

Every DMS review uses the same five criteria, each marked out of 5, and the overall score is a weighted average on the DMS 2026 scale, with features and evidence counting most. This is a desk review: we scored what the vendor publishes and what independent sources show, not a paid hands-on test.

Criterion Score Why
Features and depth 4.5/5 Shop database, Meta, TikTok and Google ad libraries, email flows and campaigns, Brandtracker with EU and UK spend estimates, image search, an API and an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and others
Pricing transparency and value 4/5 Prices are published for three plans and three billing periods, from $34 a month billed yearly. But Starter has no ads, email or MCP, API credits double only on annual billing, and payments are non-refundable
Evidence and credibility 4/5 4.7 out of 5 from 83 Trustpilot reviews and named customer quotes, plus detailed public docs for the API and MCP
Risk and compliance 3/5 Run by a Dubai free-zone company under UAE law, refunds only in “exceptional cases” within 24 hours and spend data limited to the EU and UK
Ease of getting started 4/5 Filters and ready-made views, a Chrome extension and a three-step MCP set-up with OAuth; credit costs per result are documented
Overall 4.3/5 Strong choice for e-commerce teams who study competitors

Our verdict on Trendtrack

Trendtrack gives e-commerce marketers a lot of competitor data in one place: ads across Meta, TikTok and Google, Shopify stores, emails and a Brandtracker, with clear prices and good Trustpilot reviews. The MCP link to Claude and ChatGPT is a genuinely useful addition. It loses marks for non-refundable payments, no trial, a limited Starter plan and spend data that only covers the EU and UK. We score it 4.3 out of 5: a strong choice for e-commerce teams who study competitors.
