My social media experience began in 2010, when I started building my own nail business. Between servicing clients at my home-based studio, I also collaborated with industry leaders through brand ambassador, educational, and social media management roles. While nail art was my first love, I developed a passion for my work within social media marketing.
Later on, in 2015, I was recruited as a Social Media Manager for John Casablancas Institute Canada, a role that solidified my love for all things beauty and social. Concurrently, I went on to complete my diploma in Marketing Management & Communications at BCIT (Vancouver, BC).
While nails, beauty, and fashion are my areas of expertise, I hold experience in many other industries: food & beverage, hospitality, healthcare, optical, education, health and wellness, personal coaching & development, real estate, and more.
In recent years, I helped develop and managed a team of social media customer service agents with Canada’s largest online optical retailer: clearly.ca. I concluded this role in 2018 to focus on my own freelancing business and remote lifestyle, which brings me to where I am today.
