Description

A few months back, after researching the articles written by a New York Times–California Today writer, I pitched her details about my client. The next day, she responded requesting an interview. The interview occurred a week later and the article is expected to be completed by Fall 2020 and published shortly after. I wish every pitch was this easy but even when they are not, I am adept at obtaining excellent results for clients of all industries. I invite you to read some of these articles I secured in Fast Company, Digital Trends, NPR’s Marketplace, the California Report, Forbes, San Jose Mercury, and others acquired up to the present!

I have 20+ years developing communications strategies and PR campaigns on staff in Silicon Valley for enterprise tech and later managing start-up companies and I am competent handling tech PR accounts of all industries. But wait! I am not only tech-savvy, I am equally passionate about nonprofit work, and have also managed PR for national non-profit and numerous regional non-profits including Project Equity, Points of Light Foundation, Association for Women in Science, and many others. I have also worked for an award-winning PR boutique firm and worked on PR account teams for various B2B and B2C noted accounts. And early in my career, I was a journalist who worked on the editorial staff of PC World, MacWorld, Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Since joining Elance/UpWork in January 2014, I’ve pitched clients into Fast Company, The Next Web, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes (three times), PC World Blog, Business 2 Community, Consumer Reports, Re/Code, Venture Beat, Lucky Magazine, and numerous other top outlets. These are examples of outstanding results. This is the caliber of PR expertise I bring to UpWork. Keep in mind, attracting WSJ, Forbes, and CR doesn’t occur every day, and it certainly isn’t something I can promise, but it is an example of coverage I always strive for when appropriate and have achieved.

Let’s discuss your project today!
