I’ve been a Fortune 50 global marketing executive, but it is my entrepreneurial background that anchors me in a metrics-driven, hands-on drive to accomplish your business goals. Clicks, likes, time on site, even subscription sign-ups mean nothing unless they are happening with audiences that will become high-value DTC and 3-tier customers (DTC & 3-tier are not mutually exclusive and should not be treated as such).

I have also worked in marketing for Gallo and the Benziger family, owned and operated a wine import company, and have executed DTC digital marketing for more than 20 sustainable wine brands and half a dozen craft distillery brands. Additionally, I have valuable experience outside the wine and spirits industry with world-class CPG and hospitality brands like Kraft, Coca-Cola, Mentos, Westin Hotels, Biltmore Estate and others.

Most of my freelance work comes from referrals. I get a small % of my work from UpWork and may not hit some of the big UpWork numbers, but you should look deeper than that.

My posted rate is pretty firm, but I am also very comfortable (and often prefer) a fixed cost for a specific amount of work or deliverables. Ongoing fixed monthly programs are often the best approach and I am very comfortable working that way also.
