Description

What is Cuttable?

Cuttable is an AI ad platform for ecommerce brands that builds ads from the photos and footage you already own, publishes them to Meta and learns from the results. It is run by Cuttable Operations Pty Ltd, a Victorian company (ACN 669 868 928) founded by Sam Kroonenburg, who also co-founded A Cloud Guru (see Cuttable’s Terms of Service and its About page). On 22 October 2026 it relaunched with an A$20 million Series A led by Airtree Ventures, according to the AAP and PR Newswire release.

Its pitch is “ads that learn”: most AI ad tools generate from a prompt, while Cuttable starts from how your ads have performed, what you sell and the creative you own. Everything below is checked against Cuttable’s own pages on 27 October 2026. We have not used the product.

Key Features of Cuttable

Predict: what to make next

Cuttable reads results from connected channels and proposes the next ads, or builds from your own idea. Its connections include Meta, TikTok, Shopify and tools such as Klaviyo, Triple Whale, Northbeam and Motion (see the platform page). The release gives an example: a product about to sell out gets a different ad from one you need to clear.

Build: layered ads in every size

Ads are cut from your own photos and footage as static and video in 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5, and stay layered and editable. A brand kit is built from your site and guidelines, and a “Shoots” studio can generate or extend photos and video when you are missing a shot (see Cuttable’s platform overview).

The platform page lists eight modules, from brand strategy to recut. Captured on 27 October 2026.

Optimise: publish and read back

You approve each ad, then publish straight to Meta Ads Manager, and Ad Insights reads performance back from Meta, including thumbstop, click-through rate and return on ad spend (per the US release), so the next brief builds on what worked. The press release says ads can also publish to TikTok.

Recut and UGC-style ads

Cuttable can recut your best video ads into new hooks, lengths and formats, and create UGC-style ads without creators. For a wider view of that style, read our guide to AI UGC ads for digital marketers.

Features as described on cuttable.com, 27 October 2026.

How Cuttable Works

  • Sync your platforms: connect Meta, TikTok, Shopify and your data tools
  • Build at volume: draft ads, then adjust and approve them in Cuttable’s editor
  • Publish and learn: push approved ads to Meta; results feed the next batch
  • Review with your team: assisted onboarding is included on every plan
Cuttable loop in three steps: predict the next ads from your results, build layered ads in every format from your own assets, and optimise by publishing to Meta and reading results back
Cuttable’s own three-step description, summarised from its platform page and the 22 October 2026 release. We have not tested it.

Cuttable says its own research shows a brand needs about 42 ads to find one that moves the business, and that nearly half of ads lose money (see Prompt the Market’s report on the funding and the release). Those figures are Cuttable’s analysis, not independent data.

How Much Does Cuttable Cost?

Plans are priced per brand, not per user, so teammates are free to add. The cheapest plan is pitched at brands spending $10,000 to $25,000 a month on Meta, so it is not aimed at small advertisers (see Cuttable’s pricing page, checked 27 October 2026).

Plan Price Ads exported / AI credits Meta spend it is pitched at
Performance $1,110/month 75 ads / 1,100 credits $10k to $25k a month
Growth $2,150/month 200 ads / 2,200 credits $25k to $50k a month
Scale $3,298/month 600 ads / 3,300 credits $50k+ a month, single brand
Enterprise Custom Pooled ads / custom credits 3+ brands, markets or regions
Cuttable plans per brand per month: Performance $1,110 for 75 ads, Growth $2,150 for 200 ads, Scale $3,298 for 600 ads, Enterprise custom, with the Meta spend each is pitched at
The four plans side by side. The per-ad figures are our arithmetic, assuming you use the full monthly allowance.

Creating ads is unlimited; you pay for what you export or publish, and one ad published to Meta in all three sizes counts as one. AI credits cover the Shoots studio only: one image costs 1 credit and one second of video costs 3. We found no free trial or self-serve sign-up, so you book a demo.

Who Should Use Cuttable?

  • Ecommerce brands on Shopify that run Meta ads and are short of fresh creative
  • Performance teams that want results to steer the next batch of ads
  • Agencies that want to give clients a shared, brand-safe ad system
  • Brands preparing for Black Friday, which falls on 27 November 2026

It is less suited to brands spending under $10,000 a month on Meta, to teams that advertise mainly on other channels, or to anyone who wants to try a tool before talking to sales.

Pros and Cons of Cuttable

Pros

  • Ads stay layered and editable, and nothing publishes without your approval
  • Pricing is public, per brand, with unlimited teammates
  • A real, funded company with named founders and a published AI, IP and data page (see Cuttable’s AI, IP and data usage page)

Cons

  • Demo only, and the entry price is high for small brands
  • Built around Meta and ecommerce
  • Results such as the 4.4x average ROAS are Cuttable’s own claims, and its pages disagree on some numbers
