Description

What is Attio?

Attio is an AI-native CRM that keeps your contacts, companies and deals in a flexible database and lets AI agents, workflows and tools like ChatGPT and Claude work on that data for you. Its homepage title is “The CRM for agentic revenue”, and it says Attio “builds pipeline, advances deals, and grows accounts around the clock”. It is made by Attio Ltd, which Attio’s services agreement names as Attio Limited, registered in England and Wales with an office in London. We checked everything below against Attio’s own pages on 2 and 3 November 2026. We have not used the product.

Attio raised a $52 million Series B led by GV in August 2025 and says it has raised $116 million to date (Attio blog). Our full Attio review covers what we could and could not check.

Key Features

A CRM you can shape

Attio starts with People and Companies, and you add your own objects, attributes and relationships. Plan limits run from 3 objects on Free to 12 on Pro and unlimited on Enterprise, and from 50,000 records on Free to 1,000,000 on Pro. Email and calendar sync builds records for you, and Attio adds company and people data automatically. You can import from Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho or a CSV file.

Ask Attio

Ask Attio is a chat assistant inside the CRM. Attio says it “follows your existing permissions”, and you can “approve, modify, or reject any suggestion” before it changes anything. It has a shared prompt library and works in any language.

Custom agents and Web Agent

Custom Agents run one prompt on every record, for jobs like lead scoring, lead routing and meeting prep. You choose Claude, GPT or Gemini, and an agent log shows “what it thought, what it called, and what it cost”. You can pause, cancel, resume or replay a run. The Web Agent researches the open web and writes a sourced answer back to the record, with a confidence rating.

Workflows, sequences and call recording

Workflows automate routing, deal updates and outreach on every plan. Sequences (automated email outreach) and Call Intelligence are on Pro and Enterprise. Call Intelligence records Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls and gives transcripts in more than 100 languages.

MCP server and API

Attio’s MCP server connects ChatGPT, Claude “and everything else that speaks MCP” to your CRM, using OAuth sign-in with your own permissions. The API, webhooks and App SDK are included on every plan.

How Attio Works

  1. Sign up and connect your inbox. Syncing email and calendar is optional, but Attio recommends it so records build themselves.
  2. Import your data. Bring contacts and deals from Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho or a CSV file.
  3. Shape the model. Add custom objects, attributes, lists and pipelines to match how you sell.
  4. Add AI. Use Ask Attio for questions and drafts, and build agents and workflows for repeat jobs. Each run uses credits.
  5. Connect your tools. Use the integrations, API or MCP server so other apps and AI assistants can read and update the CRM.

How Much Does Attio Cost?

Attio charges per user per month, and annual billing saves 20%. These are the plans on Attio’s UK pricing page on 3 November 2026 (US dollar prices in brackets, from the US page):

Plan Monthly billing Annual billing Key limits
Free £0 £0 Up to 3 seats, 3 objects, 50,000 records, 200 emails a month, 250 workspace credits
Plus £34 ($44) per user £27 ($35) per user Up to 10 seats, 5 objects, 250,000 records, 1,000 emails a month, 1,500 workspace credits
Pro £74 ($99) per user £59 ($79) per user Unlimited seats, 12 objects, 1,000,000 records, sequences, Call Intelligence, 10,000 workspace credits
Enterprise Not offered Custom Unlimited objects, SSO and SCIM, custom credits

Every plan includes a monthly allowance of credits for AI and workflows. Seat credits for Ask Attio are 100, 500, 1,000 or 2,500 per user a month, depending on the plan. On Plus and above you can buy extra workspace credits, from 5,000 a month for £70 (£55 billed annually) up to 50,000 for £445 (£360). Attio offers a 14-day Pro trial with no credit card, and “up to 80% off for eligible startups”. Attio’s pricing page does not say whether these prices include VAT.

Is Attio Safe to Use?

Attio is an established, well-funded company, but read three parts of its terms before you commit.

  • Payments and renewal. Under Attio’s services agreement, plans renew automatically unless you give 14 days’ written notice, and fees are non-refundable except where the agreement says otherwise. Attio can change fees with 30 days’ notice, taking effect at your next renewal.
  • AI output. The agreement says AI output “may not be unique”, and that AI features may produce “inaccuracies, hallucinations, biases, inconsistencies, or false information”. You are responsible for checking it.
  • Enrichment data. Company and people data that Attio adds comes from third parties. You may use it inside Attio only, must not download or export it, and must not use it to decide on someone’s credit, employment, housing or similar.

If you leave, Attio makes your data available to download for 30 days.

Who Should Use Attio?

  • Good fit: start-ups and scale-ups that want a CRM they can model themselves without a consultant.
  • Good fit: revenue and RevOps teams who want AI agents, workflows and MCP access built into the CRM.
  • Good fit: small teams that can live within the Free or Plus limits.
  • Poor fit: teams that need deep, highly custom reporting today, which several G2 reviewers say is still maturing.
  • Poor fit: anyone who needs fixed, predictable AI costs, as heavy agent and workflow use draws on credits.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • A flexible data model with custom objects and relationships.
  • AI agents, workflows, the API and the MCP server on every plan, including Free.
  • Clear published prices in pounds and dollars, plus a free plan and a 14-day Pro trial.
  • A London company with large investors and named customers such as Granola, Modal and Railway.

Cons

  • AI and workflow use is metered by credits, so heavy use can cost more.
  • Sequences and call recording need Pro, at £59 per user a month billed annually.
  • Fees are non-refundable and plans renew automatically.
  • Attio’s own customer numbers differ from page to page.

Attio vs Alternatives

HubSpot and Salesforce are the big, all-round choices with deeper reporting and more integrations. Pipedrive, Close and Salesflare are simpler pipeline CRMs for small sales teams. Attio stands out for its flexible data model and for building AI agents and MCP into every plan. If you want AI agents to run outbound on top of your CRM, see Alta, which integrates with Attio, and our guide to the best AI SDR agents. For data enrichment, see Floqer and Apollo.

Gojiberry also lists Attio among its CRM integrations, so you can pair it with Attio to find prospects from buying signals and contact them on LinkedIn and email.

Getting Started

Start on the Free plan or the 14-day Pro trial at attio.com. Import a small, clean set of contacts first, connect one inbox, and build one custom object that matches how you sell. Then run Ask Attio and one agent for a week and check the credit usage in your billing settings before you roll it out. If you buy annually, diarise the renewal date, as fees are non-refundable. Our full Attio review covers the claims we could and could not check.

Final Verdict

Attio is one of the strongest modern CRMs for start-up and scale-up teams. It is flexible, it publishes clear prices, and it puts AI agents, workflows and an MCP server on every plan. The catches are credits that meter AI use, key sales features held back for Pro, non-refundable fees, and reporting that some users say is still catching up with older CRMs. Try it on the free plan or the Pro trial before you commit.
