Indexly review 2026: AI search visibility tracking plus AI agents that publish content, from $49 a month, scored 3.2 out of 5 (Digital Marketing Supermarket)

By Saj Ali · Last updated 2 Nov 2026

Indexly is a real and unusually broad AI search visibility platform: it tracks how six AI engines talk about your brand, then uses agents to write articles, publish LinkedIn, X and Instagram posts and draft Reddit replies, from $49 a month. But its autopilot publishing needs careful handling, it does not explain how it posts to LinkedIn, and its own customer numbers do not match from page to page. We reviewed it from public pages on 2 November 2026, without using it. Our score is 3.2 out of 5: worth a careful trial.

TL;DR: our verdict on Indexly

  • Verdict: 3.2/5, worth a careful trial. Broad and fairly priced, with useful tracking, held back by autopilot publishing risks and claims that do not add up across its own pages.
  • Price: Modules from $49 a month; Indexly One from $299 a month. Free trial, no card.
  • Best for: SaaS, e-commerce and agency teams who want AI visibility tracking and content in one tool.
  • Biggest risk: Letting AI agents post to LinkedIn, X and Reddit in your name without checking each draft.

Is Indexly legit? What we checked

Yes, as a company. Indexly’s terms and privacy policy name Pivelabs Pvt Ltd as the operator, and its contact address is hello@indexly.ai. Its Product Hunt page shows co-founder Chetan Giridhar introducing himself and his co-founder Deepti, says Indexly first launched in 2024, and shows its third launch on 29 October 2026, with a 5.0 rating from 2 reviews. The launch tracker Launch Index shows 22 votes and 33rd place of 1,089 products that day, and Indexly’s own newsletter asked readers to support the launch.

On Trustpilot, Indexly scores 3.9 from 5 reviews: four five-star and one one-star. Trustpilot notes the profile was claimed in September 2025 and the company “hasn’t invited customers recently”. Capterra India shows 4.5 from 2 reviews.

What Indexly does

Indexly’s FAQs describe it as an end-to-end GEO platform that tracks your presence in AI answers, improves it and measures the traffic. It has these main parts:

  • AI Visibility: daily tracking of 100 prompts across three AI models and two countries, with sentiment, hallucination detection and competitors. Indexly says it covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok and Google AI Overviews.
  • SEO Visibility: Google and Bing indexing, keyword tracking, audits and backlinks.
  • Content Agents: up to 30 GEO-optimised articles a month with FAQ and Article schema, published to WordPress, Webflow or Ghost.
  • Social Agents: LinkedIn posts and Pulse articles, X posts and threads, and Instagram images, carousels and videos, up to 30 posts per channel a month.
  • Forum Agents: Reddit monitoring and AI-drafted replies. Quora is listed as “coming soon” on the pricing page but described as covered in the FAQ.
  • Analytics, API and reports, plus a managed service. Chetan Giridhar’s Product Hunt post says Ads Agents and a Lead Dashboard shipped recently.

How much does Indexly cost?

Indexly’s pricing page sells each module separately, each covering 2 sites:

Module Price per month Main limits
SEO Visibility $49 Indexing, keywords, audits, backlinks
AI Visibility $99 100 prompts, 3 models, 2 countries, daily
Content Agents $99 30 articles a month, one-click publishing
Social Agents $99 30 posts per channel a month, automatic publishing
Forum Agents $49 10 keywords per channel, AI-assisted Reddit replies
Analytics Free Search, AI, social and conversion reporting
Indexly One From $299 All modules
Indexly pricing tabs: Indexly One, SEO Visibility, AI Visibility $99 a month, Content Agents, Social Agents, Forum Agents, Analytics
Indexly’s pricing page on 2 November 2026 (indexly.ai/pricing).

Annual billing saves 17%, and Chetan Giridhar’s Product Hunt post offered the code PH30 for 30% off the first month. Agency plans are $149 a month (3 sites, 150 prompts), $249 (5 sites, 250 prompts) and $499 (10 sites, 500 prompts). The free trial needs no card.

Two problems. The same pricing page has a second “Compare all plans” table with Starter at $99, Growth at $299 and Scale at $499 a month, and Starter there includes 50 prompts, while the $99 AI Visibility tab says 100. And the refund FAQ only says Indexly aims to build relationships and points to a separate cancellation policy, which we did not check. Ask which plan you are buying and what the refund terms are before you pay.

Platform rules and limits to know

Tracking reads AI answers. The agents publish in your name. That is where the risk sits.

How Indexly publishes to LinkedIn

Indexly’s Social Agents page says you “connect your handles in 5 minutes”, that content is “published straight to your company handles”, and that each platform can run in “review-first or full-autopilot” mode. Its FAQ says every agent supports an approval workflow, but “You can also run fully on autopilot once you trust the brand voice”. Its page shows LinkedIn Pulse articles and carousels among the formats.

Indexly does not say how it connects to LinkedIn. LinkedIn’s official Posts API lets approved apps post to company pages, but only for page admins and with LinkedIn’s organisation posting permission. Its “article” post is a link card with a title, description and thumbnail, not a native long-form article, and it lists carousels as “No” for organic posts (PDF document posts are supported). So we could not confirm how Indexly publishes Pulse articles or carousels. LinkedIn’s User Agreement (section 8.2) bans bots and other unauthorised automated methods for creating, commenting on, liking or sharing posts, or for generating inauthentic engagement. Ask Indexly which connection it uses before you link your page.

Reddit replies from your account

Indexly’s Forum Agents FAQ says “Your team controls publishing”: it drafts replies for review and approval. The pricing page describes this as “Respond through your Reddit account”. Reddit’s rules ask users to “participate authentically” and not to “spam or engage in disruptive behaviors (including content manipulation)”. Many subreddits also ban self-promotion. If you post a drafted reply, rewrite it in your own words and say who you work for.

Thin terms

Indexly’s terms were last updated on 15 June 2024, say they were created with a free terms and conditions generator, and include the broken phrase “prevailing law of in”. They say nothing about posting to your social accounts, content ownership for AI articles or liability for what agents publish. Its FAQ says your data “isn’t used to train third-party models”.

Claims and numbers: what we could check

Claim Source What we found
“3,000+ brands publishing with Social Agents” and “180,000+ Social Posts” Social Agents page Vendor claims we could not check. The homepage sign-up box says “Join 500+ marketers”, which is hard to square with 3,000+ brands.
CircleChess: #1 in AI Overviews, +180 AI sessions a month, SEO clicks from 600 to 750+ a day Case study Indexly’s own case study, for one phrase (“online classroom chess programs”). A CircleChess reviewer on Trustpilot reports 3x traffic and about 15 AI sessions a day, which uses different measures.
Testimonial from Hardik Patel Pricing and homepage Inconsistent: “Founder at EssayChecker” on the pricing pages, “AltraOne” on the homepage.
Testimonials from Priya Nair (RankingCo) and Marco Ferretti (CircleChess) Social Agents page Not verified. The CircleChess review on Trustpilot is from a different person.
Tracks six AI engines FAQs Indexly’s own list. Its Product Hunt post adds Copilot. Each AI Visibility plan covers three models of your choice.
Third Product Hunt launch, 29 October 2026 Product Hunt Confirmed. 22 votes and 33rd place that day (Launch Index).

What we could not verify

  • How Indexly connects to LinkedIn, X and Instagram, and how it publishes Pulse articles and carousels.
  • Whether the named testimonials are real customers, and the 3,000+ brands and 180,000+ posts figures.
  • The refund and cancellation terms, which sit on a separate page we did not check.
  • G2 reviews, which blocked our check.
  • The quality of the AI articles and posts. We found no independent hands-on test.

What users are saying

There is little independent feedback. All five Trustpilot reviews are from the last 12 months. The four five-star reviews come from founders and marketers of small companies, who praise the AI visibility tracking, the content agents and the support. One said it replaced “3 tools in our stack”. One founder described a daily routine of reviewing upcoming posts and spending “10-15 mins responding to relevant reddit threads surfaced by indexly”, which matches the review-first workflow we recommend. One review is one-star. On Product Hunt, one commenter asked for share-of-voice measured over many runs, a fair point for any tool that samples AI answers.

Who should use Indexly, and who should not

  • Use it if you want AI visibility tracking and a content engine under one login, at modular prices.
  • Use it if you are an agency tracking several client brands on a budget.
  • Avoid it if you cannot have a person review every post that goes out in your brand’s name.
  • Avoid it if you need enterprise-grade terms, a DPA and a clear refund policy before you sign.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • One of the broadest AI visibility tools, from tracking to publishing.
  • Modular pricing from $49, free analytics and a free trial with no card.
  • Review-first mode for every agent, and Reddit replies are drafts only.
  • Agency plans and an API.

Cons

  • Autopilot posting to LinkedIn and X, with no explanation of how it connects.
  • Two conflicting plan structures on one pricing page.
  • Testimonials and usage claims do not match across pages.
  • Generic 2024 terms and a vague refund policy.

How to run a fair trial

  1. Start the free trial and track 10 to 20 prompts your buyers really ask, across the models that matter to you.
  2. Run the same prompts by hand in ChatGPT and Perplexity and compare them with Indexly’s results.
  3. Before you connect LinkedIn or X, ask Indexly in writing how it connects and which posting permissions it uses.
  4. Keep Social and Content Agents in review-first mode for at least a month, and edit every draft.
  5. Post Reddit replies yourself, in your own words, and disclose who you work for.
  6. Read the cancellation policy and confirm which plan you are on before you pay.

How we scored Indexly

Every DMS review uses the same five criteria, each marked out of 5, and the overall score is the average. This is a desk review: we scored what the vendor publishes and what independent sources confirm, not a paid hands-on test.

Criterion Score Why
Features and depth 4.5/5 Tracks six AI engines and adds content, social, forum and ads agents, analytics, an API and agency plans, which is broader than most AI visibility tools
Pricing transparency and value 3/5 Modules are priced openly from $49 a month with a free trial and no card; but the same page shows two different plan structures, prompt counts conflict, and the refund wording is vague
Evidence and credibility 2.5/5 A named company and co-founders, a third Product Hunt launch and five Trustpilot reviews (3.9); but testimonials and usage claims conflict across pages, and the case study is the vendor’s own
Risk and compliance 2.5/5 Autopilot posting to LinkedIn and X in your name, an undisclosed LinkedIn connection method, Reddit replies from your account, and generic 2024 terms that do not cover any of it
Ease of getting started 3.5/5 Free trial with no card and a few minutes to connect; review-first mode is available, but the number of modules and plans takes time to work through
Overall 3.2/5 Worth a careful trial

Our verdict on Indexly

Indexly does more than most AI visibility tools: it tells you where AI engines ignore your brand, then gives you agents to do something about it, at prices a small team can afford. The tracking side is low-risk and useful. The publishing side is where to be careful, because it puts AI content in your name on LinkedIn, X and Reddit, and Indexly does not explain how it connects to LinkedIn. Its own figures also need tidying. We score it 3.2 out of 5: worth a careful trial. See the Indexly listing for a quick summary, or browse more AI marketing tools.

FAQs

Is Indexly legit? Yes, as a company. Indexly is run by Pivelabs Pvt Ltd, co-founders Chetan Giridhar and Deepti introduce it on Product Hunt, and it has been on Product Hunt since 2024. Some of its testimonials and usage figures do not match across its own pages, so treat those with caution.

How much does Indexly cost? Indexly sells modules: SEO Visibility and Forum Agents at $49 a month, AI Visibility, Content Agents and Social Agents at $99 a month, free Analytics, and the full Indexly One platform from $299 a month. Agency plans run from $149 to $499 a month. Annual billing saves 17%.

How does Indexly post to LinkedIn? Indexly says Social Agents publish LinkedIn posts and Pulse articles straight to your connected company handles, with review-first or full-autopilot modes. It does not say whether it uses LinkedIn’s official API. That API supports company-page posts, but not organic carousels, and its article type is a link card.

Is it safe to let Indexly auto-publish? Only once you have checked a few weeks of drafts. Autopilot puts AI content in your brand’s name on LinkedIn, X and Instagram. Start in review-first mode, ask Indexly how it connects to each platform, and keep a person responsible for what goes out.

Does Indexly post on Reddit automatically? No, according to its Forum Agents FAQ. Indexly drafts replies, and your team reviews, edits and posts them from your own Reddit account. Reddit’s rules ask users to participate authentically and ban spam, so say who you work for.

Does Indexly work for agencies? Yes. Agency plans cover 3 sites and 150 prompts for $149 a month, 5 sites and 250 prompts for $249, or 10 sites and 500 prompts for $499. Indexly also runs a 30% recurring affiliate scheme for six months.

What are the best Indexly alternatives? Peec AI or Profound for AI visibility tracking alone, Notra or OpenSEO for SEO and content, and Taplio or Postiz if you mainly want LinkedIn and social scheduling with more control.
